Convert PDF Pages to High-Quality Images
Sometimes you just need an image of a document to post on social media, insert into a presentation, or send via WhatsApp. Our PDF to JPG tool slices up your document into perfect, high-resolution JPEG files.
You have the flexibility to download individual pages out of massive documents, or instantly download the entire document packaged away in a neat, lightweight ZIP file.
Choosing the right resolution
Resolution is measured in dots per inch (DPI). Around 150 DPI is enough for viewing on screen or sharing in chat, while 300 DPI is the usual target for printing. Higher DPI gives sharper text but much larger files: an A4 page at 300 DPI is about 2480 × 3508 pixels.
A multi-page PDF becomes one image per page. If you need them back in one document later, use JPG to PDF.
What you lose when a PDF becomes an image
Text in a JPG is just pixels, so you can no longer select, search or copy it. If you need editable text, use OCR to Text on the image. JPG also compresses with some loss, so for sharp line art or screenshots with small text a PNG is often cleaner. Convert with PNG to JPG or JPG to PNG as needed.
