About ToolsDock

India's free online toolkit - 75+ calculators, converters, and utilities built for students, businesses, developers, and the Muslim community. No sign-up. No uploads. Always free.

Who Built ToolsDock

ToolsDock was designed and built by @imazamsharieff under ZapGrow.in - a digital product studio based in India. ToolsDock was born from a simple frustration: most utility websites are either paywalled, cluttered with ads, require sign-ups, or aren't designed with Indian financial standards in mind.

We built ToolsDock to be the opposite: a fast, clean, private, and genuinely free toolkit - tailored specifically for how Indian students, businesses, developers, and Muslim families actually use the internet day-to-day.

Our Mission

Access to accurate, useful digital tools should not require a subscription, an account, or any technical knowledge. ToolsDock's mission is to give every Indian user - from a student checking their home loan EMI to a Muslim verifying their Zakat obligation - instant access to tools that work correctly, respect their privacy, and never cost a rupee.

All financial calculations are based on standard, publicly verifiable mathematical formulas used by Indian banks, the RBI, and recognized Islamic scholars. We do not make up our own formulas or use approximations. See our methodology section below for full transparency.

Instant & Accurate

All financial calculators use standard, verified mathematical formulas - the same formulas used by Indian banks and chartered accountants. No rounding shortcuts, no approximations.

Calculation Methodology

All financial and Islamic finance calculators use standard, publicly verifiable formulas. Here is full transparency on how our key tools calculate their results.

EMI Calculator

EMI = [P ร— R ร— (1+R)^N] / [(1+R)^N - 1]

Where P = Principal, R = Monthly interest rate, N = Tenure in months. This is the standard formula used by all Indian banks (RBI-approved).

GST Calculator

GST Amount = (Original Price ร— GST Rate) / 100

Supports all GST slabs (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) and correctly splits GST into CGST + SGST for intra-state and IGST for inter-state transactions.

Zakat Calculation

Zakat = 2.5% of total Zakatable assets above Nisab

Follows the standard Nisab of 87.48g of gold or 612.36g of silver. Applies the 2.5% rate as agreed upon by major Islamic scholars and jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali).

SIP Calculator

FV = P ร— [(1 + r)^n - 1] / r ร— (1 + r)

Where P = Monthly investment, r = Monthly rate of return, n = Number of months. Uses standard compound interest formula for Systematic Investment Plans.

Financial & Religious Disclaimer

All calculators on ToolsDock are provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or religious advice. EMI and investment projections are estimates based on the inputs you provide. For tax or investment decisions, consult a qualified Chartered Accountant or SEBI-registered financial advisor. For Zakat rulings specific to your situation, consult a qualified Islamic scholar.
